京都から世界へ。

Black Musicを中心に、多様な音楽ジャンルに影響を受けた 『ナードでハード』な音楽集団。 京都の音楽シーンで、大学在学中にそれぞれのジャンルに精通した高い演奏力を持つメンバーによって結成された。

 

2023年『SUMMER SONIC 2023』、2024年『FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’24』、2025年5月北京『STRAWBERRY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025』、9月にはビルボード横浜にてSkaai(Band set)と対バン。2026年1月バンコク『Bangkok Music City 2026』、2月台中『浮現祭 Emerge Fest.』、8月ジャカルタ『LaLaLa Festival』など、国内外の大型フェスに多数出演中。

 

2026年3月、現行UKシーンのJAZZとElectronicの関連性に注目し、クラブ・フロアサウンドを独自の解釈で融合。約5年ぶりのアルバムとなる国内外のアーティスト・プロデューサーが参加した2ndフルアルバム「Diaspora」をリリース。

 

“Black petrol” from Kyoto is a “nerdy and hard” music collective rooted in Jazz,Hiphop and influenced by a wide range of genres. Formed in Kyoto's vibrant music scene by university students, this band quickly gained attention for its high level of musical talent and expertise in its respective genres. They have performed at SUMMER SONIC 2023, FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’24, BEIJING STRAWBERRY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025, Bangkok Music City 2026, Taichung Emerge Fest 2026, and the LaLaLa Festival in Jakarta (August). Drawing inspiration from the intersection of modern UK jazz and electronic music, they continue to fuse these influences into their own interpretation of club-floor sounds, releasing music in tandem with their dynamic live performances.
